THE PEOPLE BEHIND MY ENGLISH SPACE

Good teaching
starts with people.

Kinga & Maria
A SMALL STUDIO. A SHARED LOVE OF TEACHING.

Hi, we’re
Kinga & Maria.

We are English teachers and the people behind My English Space.

We know the evenings spent opening tabs, finding a text and changing exercises — then wondering whether all those pieces will work together.

We create these materials ourselves, use them with real learners and refine them through teaching. We look for the questions that open a conversation and the activities that need a clearer next step.

CREATED BY TEACHERS. OPEN TO YOUR IDEAS.

Your classroom.
Your perspective.

Have a question after trying a lesson? Want to suggest a topic or tell us how an activity worked with your learners? We would love to hear from you.

Your feedback can help shape future materials. We cannot promise every suggestion will become a lesson, but we welcome your perspective.

A little clarity before you choose

Good questions.
Straight answers.

Choosing resources is personal. Here is what to know before bringing these into your lessons.

Who are these materials for?

English teachers and tutors looking for structured, conversation-focused materials at B1/B1+. The sample pages let you judge the language and task style for your own learners.

What is inside a lesson?

The featured lessons combine warm-up questions, reading, vocabulary, grammar practice and speaking. Additional activities vary by topic: examples include a travel interview, situation-based discussion and a personal learning plan.

Can I adapt the lesson to my learner?

Yes — choose activities, change the pace, extend a discussion or revisit a language point. The teaching structure is a guide rather than a fixed script. Ask us directly if you need information about file editing or usage permissions.

How much preparation will I need?

The material gives you a connected starting point. Read through the lesson, choose the activities that suit your learner and decide where to spend more time. You still bring the judgement and personal attention that make the lesson yours.

Does one lesson equal one teaching session?

Not necessarily. Timing depends on your learner, your pace and the activities you choose. You can use selected sections or explore a topic over more than one meeting.

Are these previews the actual materials?

Yes. The collection cover and topic covers are the original materials. The Travel Experience preview shows all 16 actual lesson pages in order.

How many topics are in the collection?

Get Your Student Speaking contains 12 topics for B1/B1+ learners. You can browse all 12 topics and their original covers on this page.

What does “continually refined” mean?

We use the materials in our own teaching and keep developing them in response to that experience. For details about the version available to purchase and any future update arrangements, please ask us directly.

How can I get the collection?

A single lesson is €4.90 and the complete 12-lesson collection is €29. Use “Review the collection” or a lesson’s “View lesson” link to review your selection. Online checkout is not available yet; you can contact us from your selection page about purchase details.
